What is Endotest ?
Endotest® by Ziwig is an innovative, CE-marked diagnostic saliva test designed for the detection of endometriosis. Who can have the test ?
Endotest is intended for women who:
- Are 18–43 years of age.
- Have symptoms suggestive of endometriosis, including:
- Chronic pelvic pain
- Painful periods (dysmenorrhoea)
- Pain during sexual intercourse (deep dyspareunia)
- Painful bowel movements
- Painful urination
- Menstrual-related rectal bleeding or blood in the urine
- Shoulder pain associated with menstruation
- Difficulty conceiving or infertility
- Have persistent symptoms despite previous investigations.
Who is not suitable for Endotest ?
Endotest should not be performed if you:
- Are currently pregnant.
- Have a history of cancer.
- Have a history of HIV infection.
- Have an active infection at the time of saliva collection.
- Are outside the validated age range of 18–43 years.
